Sylvia visits from England {Thanksgiving day snaps }

 In November, Brian's sister, Sylvia, came to California for a three week visit. It had been 5 years since the Hixson "Kids" were together! We had a lovely time visiting with Sylvia and were very happy that she was able to stay a few days here with us. On Thanksgiving, I took several snaps of all the Hixsons. Here are a few of my favorites.

 Since Sylvia was here through November 29th, Brian and I decided to have a Christmas party! We thought she'd enjoy having Thanksgiving AND Christmas before going home. We all had a great time!

Huntington Library

 On October 28th, Brian and I met up with Joanna and Tony at the Huntington Library. We had a lovely time walking around some of the gardens and looking in some of the galleries. Here are three snaps taken that day.

July Vacation { a very late post }

 Back in July, Brian and I took a two week road trip. We drove north on Highway 395 (Three Flags Highway) to Spokane, WA- driving east and west on I-90 from Coeur d'Alene to Seattle- Down I-5 making our way to the OR coast then across OR to Crater Lake. Then down I-5 to Sacramento- south on US 99 making our way back home. The trip was awesome! We camped and hoteled it along the way. We had one rule- no fast food or chain food dining! And let me tell you, that was the best rule ever! I took tons of snaps- mostly on the road with my g6. Here are a few of my favorites.
 first snap: start of our trip- 395 before Bear Valley Rd.
