Death Valley { Jeep Trip }

On March 20 - 21st, Brian and I took a Jeep trip to Death Valley. Along with the Mlakars and Andersons, we had a wonderful tour of the valley. On our first day, we drove through Goler Wash, stopped at Barker Ranch, climb to Mengal Pass, drove past Stripped Butte, stopped at Warm Springs Mine, stood 282 ft below sea level at Badwater Basin, then spent the night in Beatty, NV. On our second day, we visited Rhyolite, NV, drove on the scenic road to Titus Canyon, stopped at Stovepipe Wells and stood under the Sea Level sign at Furnace Creek. We had a great time. Here are a few of hundreds of snapshots of our trip.

Here we are entering the park the hard way.

We stopped at Barker Ranch and walked around.

From Barker Ranch, we drove to Mengal Pass. Here's our Jeep overlooking the valley below.
Driving along, we drove past Stripped Butte.
We stopped at Warm Spring Mine and I took a few close-ups of the old mining equipment.

From the mine, we made it down to Badwater Road.
My favorite picture of the trip- Brian and me at Badwater Basin.
On the second day, we drove to Titus Canyon and the views were amazing.
Driving through the canyon was awesome. Before leaving the park, we took our picture at the sea level sign.
