Emily + Billy { a year from today!! }

 On May 1st, Billy proposed to Emily at Disneyland and she said YES! Whooot! Billy's sister was there to capture the moment. We are all very excited! They will be wed a year from today, May 4th, 2014! Much love to you both!

Brian turns 57! { birthday with family }

 On April 17th, we celebrated Brian's birthday dinner at Red Robin and then we went home for cake!

Katie and Jim { a wonderful visit! }

 On March 19th through the 22nd, Katie and Jim come over for a wonderful visit. We had a great time talking til 2 a.m., playing board games, taking a jeep trip along a ridge and a day trip to L.A. Here are a few snaps.

 On the 20th, we took the jeep out and drove along 3N31 from Devore west until it ended on Lone Pine Road. We turned left and drove to Wrightwood for lunch then we drove to Lost Lake.

 On the 21st, we drove to Pasadena and walked around the Huntington Library.

Then we drove to NoHo and had coffee and pie at the Republic of Pie.

5K Walk { with my siblings }

On March 9th, I did a 5K walk with my brother Robert and sisters Roberta and Becky. (I've done several 5Ks but never with my siblings.) It was at the fitness fair held at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton. We locked arms as we crossed over the finish line! We all had a great time. 

Nicole + Jason { tied the knot }

 Cynthia and I went to see Nicole and Jason tie the knot in Huntington Beach on March 2nd. (Jason is the son of our friend, Laurie.) The wedding was lovely! Here are a few snaps.

A Stroll on the Beach { Sunset Beach }

 On March 1st, Cynthia and I drove down to Sunset Beach to attend Jason and Nicole's wedding. Our hotel was across the street from the beach! As we strolled along the beach, I took some snaps. Here are a few of my favorites.

Snow Day { modeling in the garden }

 

On February 20th, we woke up to a beautiful dusting of snow. Ohh I'd say a little over 1 inch. At 5 a.m., the school district called a 'snow day'. Whoot! Not because of the snow but because of the icy road conditions. After a lazy morning of doing nothing, I thought I'd go and find me a model and take some snaps out in the garden before the snow melts.

January / Feburary { catch-up }

 What a couple of S.L.O.W. months it has been for snap taking. Maybe because I had my camera's lens in 'the shop'. Last July, I had to send in my camera's lens in for repair. (I had major trouble focusing!) They fixed it, or so I thought. It was working well then slowly it started not wanting to focus - again. Since the repair came with a 6 month warranty, I quickly sent it in before the 6 months was up. It took 2 weeks. Two weeks. In the mean time, I took some snaps with my g6.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

 Happy New Year and a Happy 8th day of Christmas!! It's been a year full of love, fun and snaps! I'm blessed with an amazing family and wonderful friends! Things to look forward to in 2013: My dad turning 90!; my mom turning 85!; more camping with the Mendozas; more time with family and friends; taking more snaps! and most of all-- Rachel and Andrew's wedding in October! Ok 2013, I have places to go and people to see!
