Brian and Me { backyard snaps }

On the 5th, the light looked pretty good so Brian and I went outside to take a few snaps. I think Brian would make a handsome model, dontcha think? ;)

A good snap of us. Thanks Emily! ;)

above: People pay a lot of money for a Lensbaby to make snaps look like this.

I can create the same without even trying!

Erin and Michael { a wedding }

I was excited to attend the lovely wedding of Erin and Michael Suarez on April 22nd at The Hacienda in Santa Ana. Erin looked beautiful! Here are a few snaps from my point and shoot.

Back in September, I was lucky to have taken Erin and Michael's engagement snaps. To see them, go to my archive and click on 2010/Sept/Erin+Michael.

Here's Cynthia, Sue (mom of the bride) and me.

Katie and Jim Visit { out of state guests }

My bff Katie and her finance, Jim, snowbirded in Yuma this past winter. They were able to drive up and visit with us for a weekend in April. We had a wonderful time. On the first day, we drove them out to Rainbow Canyon and then to Inscription Canyon. It was a great day to drive in an open Jeep. Here are a some snaps from their visit.

Joshua Tree NP { Spring Break Camping }

Over my spring break, Brian and I went camping at Joshua Tree. (A couple of weeks before, we went to check out some campsites and picked a real nice one in Black Rock.) We knew the weather was going to be a bit cold but we didn't expect to set up camp while it was snowing! Our first night, we froze. I have never been so cold! I think the wind chill brought the temperature to 20 degrees! Well, it felt like it! The next day was warm and beautiful. We road along the Geology Tour Road, Desert Queen Mine and Queen Valley Roads. We also hiked to Barker Dam. We had a great time! Here are a few snaps.
